I've attempted to delete a project from the dashbaord for the last 3 or 4 months and have been getting charged for it…

As a Hobby user, you get access to community support only, but on account of this being an issue with Railway, I will raise it to the team, but the team is going to need your Project ID so they can delete the rogue project.

It says for account issues (in this case billing as well) it is treated the same regardless of Tier…

Yes and you will get support from the team, but the team needs the Project ID, otherwise how would they know what project to delete?
For some extra clarity, Project IDs are not sensitive in the slightest.

I see.. I’ll have to wait until it shows back up in the dashboard as I just attempted another “delete project” operation … this is what it does, I delete it then it comes back after an hour or two.

Because this is a community, and they're trusted moderators for Railway, not a random user. They're well-positioned to be handling your issue. We only provide dedicated support to certain classes of users, unless it involves a platform bug (which it seems like you're running into), so please be cooperative and give us the information we need.

What about my situation does not sound like a bug…? I click Delete, authorize it via 2FA, appears to disappear, then returns hours later, and continues to charge for an empty project…? Please tell me how rhat’s not considered a platform bug.
