Hello,
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to confirm domain ownership by adding a CNAME record for the domain sverticalai.ru.
According to RFC 1034 (Section 3.6.2) and RFC 2181 (Section 10.1), if a domain has a CNAME record, it must not have any other records. However, a second-level domain will always have at least SOA and NS records in the zone file. Therefore, this kind of configuration cannot be implemented on any DNS server.
Best regards,
Dmitry

hey dmitry, you're right about the rfc stuff but railway handles apex domains through cname flattening. use cloudflare as your dns provider (free) and just add a cname record at @ pointing to the railway target , cloudflare flattens it automatically so it works. alternatively some providers support alias/aname records which also work

Hello. I followed the instructions. My server responded, "As far as we can see, the CNAME record is correct:" The record is also correctly sent through Google's DNS servers. However, for some reason, Railway is still having problems confirming domain ownership.
