Subject: SSL Certificate Issue with Custom Domain (underwoodscarpentry.net) Hi Railway Support, I'm experiencing an issue with setting up SSL for my custom domain underwoodscarpentry.net. The domain is pointing to my Railway app (qc06vk7c.up.railway.app), but I'm getting SSL certificate errors when accessing the site. Issue details: - Browser shows "NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID" error - When trying to access https://www.underwoodscarpentry.net - The DNS configuration appears to be working as the browser connects to the server - The site has been configured for over 4 hours but the SSL certificate hasn't been issued DNS configuration: - I've set up a CNAME record for "www" pointing to qc06vk7c.up.railway.app - Your instructions suggest adding a CNAME record for @ (root domain) pointing to Railway, but GoDaddy doesn't allow CNAME records at the root domain - Instead, I have A records for the root domain that GoDaddy created by default - I can't delete or edit these default A records I have another site (novellum.co.uk) working correctly with Railway using the same IP address (35.214.184.4), but this domain is having issues with the SSL certificate. Can you please help resolve this certificate issue or suggest alternative DNS configuration options that would work with GoDaddy's limitations? Thank you for your assistance. [Your Name]

GoDaddy does not support root-level CNAMEs. You'll need to use a DNS provider that does, such as Cloudflare.

Do not use A records on IP addresses with 35.xx because they will change.
