oh yea, if your goal is turning it off then just remove the deployments for all your services. And when you want to turn it back on again make sure your Postgres deploys first and then you can deploy your n8n services.
VERY IMPORTANT: do not remove the services, you want to remove the deployments. You can do by clicking on the service, on the green bar if there is one, you'll see a 3 dot menu, click on that and click Remove

Having looked into this, the issue appears to be in your application code or configuration rather than the Railway platform itself, which puts it outside what Railway support can resolve directly.
This is exactly the kind of problem the Railway community is good at, so we'd like to open your thread as a community bounty. Railway pays a bounty to the community member who solves it, and threads like this usually get picked up quickly.
Opening it makes this entire thread public, including everything already posted. Nothing becomes public until you decide. Use the buttons below.
- Open to the community - Before you click, take a moment to edit or remove anything you'd rather not share. The thread becomes publicly visible right away.
- Keep it private and close the thread - Nothing becomes public and the thread closes.

Have you tried redeploying your n8n services after your postgres redeployed?

i have not, i thought it might delete all the data in n8n if i do it

If the template is set up correctly then you're safe from data loss don't worry! You'll want to redeploy your n8n services, that should clear up your problem

Yup! The link will stay the same between deployments, nothing really changes that affects the usability or access of n8n
