When I connect to the GitHub repository, I get the error "Connected branch does not exist," but I've confirmed that my "master" branch does exist. I've already reconnected to GitHub and the repository, but it didn't work.

Hello!
For some context we had an issue where GitHub was rate limiting our actions. We published a full post mortem which you can read up on here.

We're getting "Connected branch does not exist" on our production apps - can't re-connect to github and can't deploy.
Also commits to github branch are not being picked up by Railway.

I know there were some additional issues from Github today and I see that you have a successful deployment about 20 minutes ago. Let us know if you are still having a problem.

Are you disconnecting on the Github side or from Railway. Can you try disconnecting Github from the Railway side at https://railway.com/account and re-adding it? We are working on a more permanent fix, but to resolve Github rate limit issues we are more aggressively caching Github info which can result in behavior like you see. Disconnecting and reconnecting should allow you to get fresh data (or you can wait for a cache refresh). Apologies for the inconvenience and let us know if this does not resolve your issue.

Reinstalling the Railway GitHub App at https://github.com/apps/railway-app/installations/new has resolved this for other users by refreshing the cached configuration.

Hello,
I sincerely apologize for the wait. It takes time to ensure everything is just right, but I’m pleased to announce that we have completely rewritten the way we retrieve the list of available repositories. This new approach is much more robust and provides real-time updates.
Please let us know if you continue to experience any issues, though!
