Hi,

For the past hour, our backend replicas have been failing to connect to our Postgres database via private networking. The connection attempts timeout with:

Error: connect

Error: connect ETIMEDOUT fd12:ee61:60e2:0:2000:79:9908:8c88:5432

Setup:

Backend: 2 replicas (us-west2, us-east4)

Postgres: us-west2

Using Railway private networking (IPv6)

The us-west2 replica connects intermittently, but us-east4 consistently fails. This started suddenly with no changes on our end.

Is there a known networking issue affecting cross-region private network connectivity?
