Convert earnings to credits

I was wondering if I could convert my earnings (from templates) to Railway credits without the 100 dollars minimum. The docs seem to say this is possible, but when I try this, I get an error.
Could I for example just move 5 dollars from earnings to credits, or is that not possible?

You would need to flip that switch so that future template kickback goes into credits

I would preferably keep the option to withdraw earnings to cash, but I worry that I wont get to 100 dollars. Is it possible to (in the future) withdraw my earnings to credits, without having 100 dollars in earnings?

Don't I understand this correctly? It says that I can withdraw to credits at any time, and that there is 100 dollar minimum for cash withdrawels. Or is the minimum also for credit withdrawels?
