Has anyone else experienced a jump in costs since the switchover? Mine jumped 2x the first month (December) and now up to 10x the second month. This db powers a small site for my friends, which I know gets very little traffic and I haven't implemented anything new in a few months. Just curious if anyone else has experienced something similar. No way my MB/min consumption is this high. Thanks!

increased costs could be egress usage, a common reason for that is connecting to the database over the public network instead of through the private network

Anyone from the Railway team able to comment here?

I don't work for railway but I have made a comment above, check your usage breakdown to see if costs are from egress

Thanks Brody. 0% from Egress, 99% from Memory.

well then there's really not much to say besides mysql is a known memory hog, try mariadb instead
