Currently, the only notification for those of us running on the Hobby plan with credits billing is once credits are completely used. Is there a plan to offer a configurable threshold for an alert when credits pass under that threshold?
My credits ran out while I was asleep, so my plan reverted to the free tier, and my services started failing on a loop until I woke up and added more credits. This is not an ideal situation.
I am not able to move to automated billing: if something goes haywire, if I get DDOSed, if there is a genuine spike in traffic that my finances cannot support... The extra alerts there are not a hard enough stop for my use-case.

Heya, seems your main concern with automated billing is a surprise charge above what you expect - we actually have usage limits: https://docs.railway.com/reference/usage-limits#hard-limit that will stop your services if your go above a certain threshold (on top of sending you early alerts before you reach that point)
However, I'll raise this up internally as it would be nice to warn at ~80% credit usage.
Hope this helps !

@itsrems Thank you for the info, I must've missed that rollout! I will probably migrate to that plan, then... once my current credits run out, and it'd be nice to have that 80% warning before I do. Thanks for raising the concern!
