CRON Jobs Getting Lost

Hi there, I posted about this originally on #feedback but this bug has now reproduced a third time for me and I believe it is worth looking at further from the Railway side.

When I manually kick off a CRON job, the canvas status disagrees with the detail pane status, and it says the logs are empty. It's impossible to say if my job succeeded or failed or why. I don't have this issue when the CRON run on its normal schedule. Can someone please help me investigate?

Thank you.

You would want to look at recent executions and click into it.

But that's my problem, it's not there. I kicked off the job like an hour ago (54m) . Recent executions does not show it.

The last run is right now (as of writing this), then seven hours ago.

(But I did also kick one off 54m ago, why else would there be a 'current deployment' ?' with that timestamp)

Happened to me yesterday too.

Recreation steps:

  1. Deploy CRON service
  2. CRON Crashes
  3. Use 'run now' while service crashed
  4. Service redeploys but doesn't run execution
