Hi,
I cant configure my custom domain name with Railway.com I requested to create cname record using the root domain (@) .
I registered my domain name in Z.com , they informed me like this: please note that Z.com DNS Management does not support using the “@” symbol for CNAME records. CNAME records are restricted to subdomains (such as www) and cannot be created directly on the root domain.
As an alternative, you may check with Railway if they support an A record configuration for the root domain.
What to do?

We don't provide static IP addresses, so A records aren't an option. Since Z.com doesn't support CNAME at the root level, your best path is to change your domain's nameservers to Cloudflare (free tier works). Cloudflare automatically handles CNAME flattening, which lets you point your root domain to Railway using a CNAME record with @ as the name. Once your nameservers are pointed to Cloudflare, you can add the CNAME record there and it will work with your apex domain. More details in our public networking guide.
