Custom domain certificate stuck in ISSUING / POLLING_AUTHORIZATIONS

Hi Railway team,

My custom domain api.astronomicconnect.com has been stuck in:

CERTIFICATE_STATUS_TYPE_ISSUING

CERTIFICATE_STATUS_TYPE_DETAILED_POLLING_AUTHORIZATIONS

for several hours.

I've confirmed:

  • DNS ownership shows verified: true
  • CNAME status is DNS_RECORD_STATUS_PROPAGATED
  • CNAME points to the Railway-assigned target
  • No conflicting A/AAAA records exist for the hostname
  • No CAA record appears to be blocking certificate issuance
  • The original Railway .up.railway.app domain is healthy and /health returns HTTP 200
  • The service/deployment is online and healthy
  • Railway's status page shows no relevant incident

The custom domain was created on September 1, 2026 at approximately 06:12 UTC and has remained in the polling-authorizations state.

I haven't deleted/re-added the domain or changed the DNS because ownership and propagation are already verified.

Could Railway staff please check whether certificate issuance is stuck server-side and, if appropriate, manually retrigger/re-issue the certificate?

Thanks!

Your DNS is correctly configured and the domain is verified, but certificate issuance hit an internal error on our side. We've triggered a certificate re-issue for api.astronomicconnect.com, which should complete within a few minutes.
