My custom domain app.ideadigital.nl (service: web, project: idea-compliance-backoffice) has been stuck on certificate status "Validating Ownership" for over 3 hours now — well past the "typically completes within an hour" window mentioned in your SSL troubleshooting docs.
I've verified everything on my end that the docs suggest checking:
CNAME: app.ideadigital.nl → ygi66m58.up.railway.app — confirmed propagated (Railway's own domain status check shows DNS_RECORD_STATUS_PROPAGATED).
TXT verification record: _railway-verify.app.ideadigital.nl = railway-verify=0bda5228de2b46f926c36fe3d0c8e011ef794913a6a1e310ee871af96d73bd53 — added in Cloudflare, confirmed resolving correctly and consistently across multiple global DNS resolvers via dnschecker.org.
CAA records: none present on app.ideadigital.nl (checked via dnschecker.org) — so nothing should be blocking Let's Encrypt.
DNS setup: domain registered at GoDaddy, DNS managed via Cloudflare, both records set to "DNS only" (grey cloud, not proxied).
Despite all of this, the domain still shows verified: false and certificate status CERTIFICATE_STATUS_TYPE_VALIDATING_OWNERSHIP with no error message.

Your DNS is correctly configured and fully propagated. The certificate validation process stalled before it could pick up your verification record, so we've triggered a re-issuance. It should complete within a few minutes.
