Hi Railway team,
I have a custom domain `royals.youthchoruskc.org` that was previously attached to a Railway service that no longer exists (the old URL was `39mslqrf.up.railway.app`).
I've created a new Railway project/service for the same application (`yckc-royals-production-20b4.up.railway.app`) and need to add this custom domain to it. However, when I try to add it in the Railway settings, it shows "Not available" because it's still claimed by the old/deleted service.
**Current situation:**
- My DNS (CNAME) correctly points `royals.youthchoruskc.org` to `yckc-royals-production-20b4.up.railway.app`
- The new service works correctly at the direct Railway URL
- Cannot add custom domain because Railway says it's claimed
**Request:**
Could you please release the domain `royals.youthchoruskc.org` from the orphaned service so I can add it to my new service?

Hello,
We can remove the domain for you, but we need to verify the ownership first.
Please add a _railway.verify TXT record for the domain with the value 7c45d9b6
Once done, please let us know and then we will verify, after verification we will remove the domain for you.

Hey brody, just wondering if domains were tied at the account level instead of individual services, would implementing that be engineering-wise complex on import? just curious.

- Type: TXT
- Value: 7c45d9b6
The record has been added in my Squarespace DNS settings for youthchoruskc.org. Please verify ownership and release the domain royals.youthchoruskc.org so I can add it to my service.

If the domain is attached to a service in the user's account, we just tell them what service it's attached to. In this case, the domain is attached to a service in a different account.

It has been released. Going forward, please make sure to remove the domain from the Railway service when you no longer wish to use it on a particular service.
