Hey, your domain for me is still pointing to the wrong place.

If you're experiencing issues with GoDaddy, I would recommend transferring your domain to Cloudflare or using the nameservers by Cloudflare. As an added benefit, you'll receive free DDoS protection.

It's best to use a subdomain for a custom domain. Have posted about the same in another thread: https://station.railway.com/questions/using-go-daddy-subdomain-cname-with-rai-3a65ff02#j35b

As I have told you earlier, it's best to use a subdomain for custom domains. Because the domain providers don't allow you to point to a different service (very rigid for that).

So, first create a subdomain in GoDaddy, like test.financialadvisor-ai.comand then use it in the settings for the service in Railway. Currently, the @ value tells that you are trying to change the CNAME for the domain itself. It may not succeed, as you are experiencing (provider is not allowing to point to other services)

Steps to follow:
a. Create a subdomain

b. Use that in your networking settings for that service (make sure to use the correct target port)

c. Then you would be provided with a different name field for the DNS settings. Assume you use the domain test.financialadvisor-ai.com, then the value for this would be test (which GoDaddy would allow)

You can just use their nameservers, no need to transfer your entire domain.
