Ive used custom domain for this service for a while
but now it does not work anymore, just happened this week
have checked with domain provider and CNAME for www is set to what was provided by railway
please help

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "does not work"? What are you seeing?
Opening the generated domain from Railway gives me the correct website
while opening the custom domain gives me an error and no HTTPS
pinging the domain give me this IP, is this correct?
Like i said, i have changed nothing, this just stopped working, might this be a domain service issue or railway issue?
I have read that you still have to enter the root domain in cloudflare and from there add the cname, I have not tried it yet, but it still works, anyway let's see if someone can help us https://docs.railway.com/guides/public-networking#redirecting-a-root-domain
just add the root domain in railway and cloudflare and a new cname for www to the root

what exploit said, you're currently trying to access a domain (the root domain) but you don't have the root domain in Railway to begin with so it's not going to work.
