GoDaddy doesn't support CNAME flattening so you're indeed forced to use www or similar, I believe you could create a redirect on GoDaddy so that @ goes to www

in my railway my custom domain is www, in cloudflare i have @ and www using the same content of railway

Change the CNAME @ record on Cloudflare to be an A record pointing to 192.0.0.1 (proxy enabled)

Go to redirect rules (on Cloudflare)

configure it like this, but replace astrid.ovh with gameledger.online

and URL redirect to https://www.gameledger.online
