Hi Railway team,

My service cannot be reached via either the custom domain or the auto-generated Railway URL.

Symptoms:

What I've confirmed is working:

  • The container is running. Logs show: "Starting gunicorn 26.2.0, Listening at: http://0.0.0.0:8080"
  • Migrations applied: "No migrations to apply"
  • Static files collected: "130 static files copied to '/app/staticfiles'"
  • DNS is correct: A record for datareestr.ru → 69.46.46.23, TXT verified
  • Target Port in Networking: 8080
  • Variables set: DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE=config.settings.prod, SECRET_KEY, DATABASE_URL, DADATA_API_KEY, DEBUG=False, ALLOWED_HOSTS, CSRF_TRUSTED_ORIGINS
  • Python 3.13.15, Django 5.1.4, Gunicorn 26.2.0

Request IDs:

  • GIt4QOiZQyOeKi987fhULg (07tyim95.up.railway.app)
  • pwvQGjQCSW-3MUrunTga3g (datareestr.ru)

It looks like the edge routing is not synced with my service. Could you please re-sync the routing or let me know what else to check?

Thank you!

Our check just now shows the custom domain answering with HTTP 200 from your web service, with no edge fallback, so the traffic routes for it are installed and requests are reaching your app. The latest deployment of web also completed successfully. Please load both URLs again on your side to confirm they serve the site for you too.

Thanks for the check, but the issue persists on multiple devices and networks (desktop + mobile LTE). The browser gets ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE. When I open datareestr.ru, no request appears in the HTTP Network Logs — the traffic is not reaching my service. The container is running (Gunicorn on 0.0.0.0:8080). Could you please check the edge routing for datareestr.ru again?

  1. Your DNS should use CNAME instead of A records.
  2. I'm able to access your custom domain perfectly fine. I would try using a different network, device, or a VPN. I'm not able to access the Railway generated domain though. I'd check if it's spelled correctly.

Thanks for checking! Could you share:

  1. The exact URL you used (with https://)?
  2. Your country/region?

https://datareestr.ru accessed in Toronto, Canada.

Users in Russia have reported issues accessing sites hosted on Railway. I'd try using a VPN if that applies to you.

Could you please look up the organization using the INN?

Enter INN 7718902696 and show me the result?

Thanks.

It doesn't work with a VPN either.
