Hi Railway team,
I'm having trouble getting a custom domain verified on my project. It's been stuck for many hours with no progress.
Project details:
Project: lucid-endurance (ID: ef827493-fd7e-4227-9e6f-a3399bd1f9db)
Service: javasmedia-site (ID: dcaf551f-7aba-419a-8bcb-f819b118c41b)
Domain: www.javasmedia.com
Current custom domain ID: 7f7afb91-67f8-48c7-9254-38770f7bae20
Issue:
The CNAME record (www.javasmedia.com → 59qsfgpj.up.railway.app) has been correctly set up on my DNS provider (Cloudflare, DNS-only/unproxied) and Railway's own domain status check confirms the DNS record status as "PROPAGATED". However, the domain has remained stuck at:
Verified: no
Certificate status: VALIDATING_OWNERSHIP
or several hours with no change.
This is actually the second time this has happened — I previously tried adding the root domain (javasmedia.com) and it got stuck the same way for over 24 hours before I removed it and switched to www.javasmedia.com instead, which is now experiencing the same issue.
Could you please check what's blocking certificate issuance for this domain, or manually trigger the verification/certificate issuance?
Thank you!

The certificate is stuck because the ownership-verification TXT record is missing. The CNAME for traffic routing is correctly propagated, but Railway also requires a TXT record to prove domain ownership before it will issue a certificate. In your service's Settings under Networking, click "Show DNS records" for this domain to see the required TXT record name and value, then add that TXT record in Cloudflare (DNS-only mode). Once it propagates, verification will complete and the certificate will proceed to issuance.
