Custom domain stuck on “Certificate Issuing” / “Verified: no”

I’m having an issue with a custom domain on Railway that appears to be stuck in certificate provisioning.

Custom domain:

members.liverpoolsnookeracademy.co.uk

Railway project:

supportive-generosity

Service:

hospitable-vitality

Current domain status:

Sync status: ACTIVE

Verified: no

Certificate status: CERTIFICATE_STATUS_TYPE_ISSUING

The DNS records are configured as Railway requested.

CNAME:

members → pbz62ql0.up.railway.app

The Railway verification TXT record is also present and matches the value Railway provided.

The Railway-generated service URL works correctly, so the application itself is online and functioning. However, visiting:

https://members.liverpoolsnookeracademy.co.uk

returns Railway’s Not Found / domain not provisioned response.

I also tried:

railway domain certificate retry members.liverpoolsnookeracademy.co.uk

but Railway replied:

Certificate retry is only available after certificate issuance fails.

Current status: CERTIFICATE_STATUS_TYPE_ISSUING.

I have not deleted or recreated the domain, and I have not changed the DNS records since confirming them.

Is this normal while the certificate is still in the ISSUING state, and is there anything else I should check while waiting for provisioning to complete?

Your DNS records are correctly configured and the verification TXT matches, but the certificate validation workflow stalled before it could pick up your records. We've re-triggered certificate issuance for this domain, which may take a few minutes to complete.
