Hi Railway team,
My custom domain is stuck on “Validating domain ownership” and SSL has not been issued yet.
Domain:
Current status in Railway:
- Port 8080
- Validating domain ownership
What I already verified on March 26, 2026:
- aistudio.squarelight.ai resolves to the Railway target dgcfx3u3.up.railway.app
- CNAME is publicly visible from multiple resolvers
- TXT verification record is also publicly visible:
_railway-verify.aistudio.squarelight.ai
- Namecheap is the active DNS provider / nameserver
- No CAA records are present
- DNSSEC is not enabled
Current behavior:
- The app is reachable through Railway edge
- http://aistudio.squarelight.ai redirects to https://aistudio.squarelight.ai
- But HTTPS still serves the default Railway certificate for *.up.railway.app, not aistudio.squarelight.ai
- Browser shows a certificate/domain mismatch warning
It looks like DNS is correctly configured externally, but Railway has not completed domain ownership validation and/or certificate issuance.
Could you please check the domain status on your side and help force/retrigger validation/certificate provisioning if needed?

Your CNAME record for aistudio.squarelight.ai is currently pointing to dgcfx3u3.up.railway.app, but our system expects it to point to h5pxav4v.up.railway.app. Updating your CNAME at Namecheap to the correct target will allow certificate issuance to proceed.

Hey,
Sorry about that. We have rolled out a fix for this. Your domains should automatically get issued a certificate. If they don't, please remove and re-add the domain.
