We tracked the issue to an update to the CNAME records that changed (our domain is managed by namecheap),
We made the necessary CNAME updates but the verification has taken longer than expected and the site isn't coming up.
After multiple CNAME regeneration and update fails we have resorted to reach out to you to help check if there's something we are missing.

Hi Noahd,
currently our domain is registered on namecheap, the status for the two custom domain setups say validating domain ownership, so i guess it already registered the CNAME but just the txt record in progress, it's past 24hrs now and still on one spot.
Besides, this issue just happened out of nowhere and sent our site down and we had to start this process all over again. maybe a bug from railway but not sure what went wrong.

Hmm for a short term fix can you try deleting and re-adding the domain with updated credentials? I've known a few people to report namecheap being a bit flaky and a delete/re-add will trigger a manual refresh

Already did that over the weekend, this is a fresh iteration of that update. for context, we've made up to 3 different iterations of the change. (site should have been down for more than a week or almost 2 weeks now).
