Database Removed

Hi Railway Support Team,I am reaching out to sincerely ask if there is any possibility of a one-time data recovery or snapshot retrieval for my expired trial MySQL service. This database contains critical data for my university graduation project, and I unfortunately missed the trial backup window.Based on my deployment history, the container status is currently "REMOVED" (from about 4 months ago), and attempts to redeploy/restart the service result in crashes, likely because the underlying storage volume has been detached or cleared. However, I still have the complete environment variables and configuration details from my dashboard. Here is the specific metadata for my service to help your infrastructure team track the backend storage volume:Database Engine: MySQL 9.4.0Database Name (MYSQL_DATABASE): railwayInternal Host Identifier: mysql-cbf0.railway.internalExternal Proxy URL: metro.proxy.rlwy.net:30435Root Username: root.I completely understand that according to Railway's data retention policy, expired trial data is subject to permanent deletion. However, if there are any lingering internal cluster backups or volume snapshots left on the host server (mysql-cbf0), it would mean the world to my studies if they could be recovered just for a temporary data dump. Please let me know if you need any further project details, Project ID, or Service ID to follow up on this request. I am more than happy to provide them immediately.Thank you very much for your time, understanding, and assistance.

We're not able to perform manual data recovery or provide one-off access to stopped services. Your MySQL service does have a volume attached, and the path to regaining access is subscribing to a paid plan at your workspace billing page. Once the workspace is on an active subscription, your services can come back online and you can connect to the database and export your data yourself.

Thank you so much for the confirmation! It is a huge relief to know that my database volume is still safely attached.I am ready to upgrade my workspace to get my data back. Before I proceed, I just want to clarify two quick things:1. Will upgrading to the Hobby Plan ($5/mo) be sufficient to bring this specific MySQL service and its attached volume back online, or does it strictly require a Pro Plan?2. Once the workspace is upgraded and I trigger the redeploy, will the system automatically mount the exact same existing volume to the container, or do I need to do any manual configuration to ensure the old data doesn't get overwritten?Thank you again for your amazing support!

The Hobby plan is sufficient - it's a paid plan and your volume and service will be able to come back online. When you redeploy, the existing volume is automatically mounted to the service with no manual steps required, so you can connect and export your data once the deployment is running.
