Hi,
I accidentally deleted my Railway account a few days ago. Today I signed up again with the same e-mail address and the same GitHub login, and the new workspace is empty - the previous project is gone.
The source code is safe on GitHub, but the project had a persistent volume containing an application database, digital certificates and image files that exist nowhere else. It is a production system used by my accounting firm.
My questions:
- Is there any window in which a deleted account's project and volume can be restored?
- If a full restore is not possible, is there any way to export or recover the volume contents?
- What is the right channel to send my account details privately? I would rather not post them publicly.
Thank you very much.

Deleting a Railway account removes the workspace and everything in it immediately, with no grace period and no restore path. The 48-hour restore window only applies to individual projects deleted from the dashboard while the account and workspace remain intact. Because the account itself was deleted, the project, its volumes, and the data on them are not recoverable, and there is no need to share account details privately since there is nothing we can act on from our side. Going forward, once you redeploy from GitHub on your new account, attaching a persistent volume to the service will keep your data across redeploys.
