I’m unable to deploy at the moment. After reconnecting the service to GitHub, any new deployment gets stuck at:
“Deployment in progress: Taking a snapshot of the code…”
What I tried:
- Disconnected and reconnected the GitHub repo/branch in Railway
- Reinstalled/reauthorized the Railway GitHub app (repo access is confirmed)
- Triggered a new deploy via push to main
- Trigger manual deploy using Railway UI
Result:
- Deploy consistently hangs on “Taking a snapshot of the code…”. No further progress or logs.

Hey! Definitely not ideal.
It looks like it went through now. Can you try aborting/removing the stuck deploy and triggering it again? We have a project going on which will fix a bunch of the flow from "push code" -> "get it live"
