Deployment enquiry

Hello Railway Team,

I am currently looking at options to deploy a project for a client. Its a small scale project.

I believe the 20$ plan should suffice but still wanted to hear from you regarding if the total estimate would be within that per month.

Application Summary:

- Full-stack web app (React frontend, Node.js/Python backend)

- PostgreSQL database.

- 15–30 users

Our Considerations:

We're evaluating the Pro plan ($20/month) but want to ensure:

- PostgreSQL storage is adequate for our use case

- Costs remain predictable and don't surprise us with overages

- We have a clear path to scale if needed

Request:

Could you provide:

1. Database Size Limit: PostgreSQL capacity on the Pro plan?

2. Cost Estimate: Would the Pro plan handle our 15–30 users + growth, or suggest an alternative?

3. Annual Plans: Do you offer yearly billing with a discount? (We prefer long-term predictability.)

Looking forward to hearing back from you

The Pro plan at $20/month includes $20 of resource usage, and for a small-scale app with 15-30 users (React frontend, Node.js/Python backend, PostgreSQL), your usage would very likely stay within or near that $20 included amount. PostgreSQL on the Pro plan uses volumes with a default size of 50 GB (expandable up to 250 GB self-serve), billed at $0.15/GB/month for actual usage, so storage should not be a concern for a small user base. We do not offer annual billing or discounts; all plans are billed monthly. You can also set usage limits to cap your spending and prevent surprises, and we recommend using private networking between your services and database to avoid unnecessary egress charges.
