Deployment issue

Hello, I have a issue with deployments, I have a project in Railway that has multiple services using same Github repo, when I push some commits to main branch, all services start deploying but two of them ignore it. I'm not sure what is the issue, it's the same repo as other with a Branch connected to production option enabled.

Is the linked service one what's being ignored?

@Railway @Brody any news?

[Broadcast] Hey, Angelo here. I'm using a tool to reach out to everyone reporting this issue at once. We've been investigating why auto-deploys and PR environments silently stop triggering, and have traced it to upstream GitHub API requests not being handled gracefully on our end. We've shipped additional monitoring to measure the false positive rate and pinpoint exactly where the issue lies. We'll follow up once we land a core fix. In the meantime, disconnecting and reconnecting your repo at the service level (Settings > Source Repo) is the best workaround. Sorry for the trouble.

and is there somewhere else to track this?

We are tracking this internally.

So there's no place for us to track? Happening consistently, team members are manually managing via CLI which is not ideal

No need to track anything. This very thread will be updated when we ship a fix.

@sergiu.loghin I've checked your project, and your Railway GitHub App is missing permissions that we now require.

To resolve this:

  1. Go into your GitHub Organization Settings. In the sidebar you will see "Third-Party Access" -> "GitHub Apps"
  2. See the "Railway App" in the list. You should also see that it says something along the lines of "Permission updates requested".
  3. Click on "Review Request" and follow the steps to approve the new permissions
  4. For any existing services that don't auto-deploy, you can quickly disconnect and reconnect the repo, to recreate the auto-deploy.

You should've received an email from GitHub a bit ago, informing you of the new permissions, but I know that it's easy to miss these. I'm currently working on showing a notification in the dashboard and making this process a bit smoother.
