Hello Railway Support Team,
I am having an issue with automatic deployments from GitHub to my Railway project, and I would like your help understanding what is happening.
Description of the issue
My Railway GitHub auto-deployments suddenly stopped working today (around the afternoon).
I have been using Railway and GitHub for more than 3 months without any problems, and I have done many deployments in the past 2 days. Everything was working normally until today.
Now, when I push to the main branch of my GitHub repository, Railway no longer receives the deploy trigger.
The only deployments that appear are old deployments (redeployed manually), but new commits do not trigger any deployment at all.
What I have checked so far
I have already tried the following:
Disconnected and reconnected the GitHub repo inside Railway multiple times.
Confirmed that Railway GitHub App has access to my repository.
Disabled "Wait for CI" in Railway deploy settings.
Confirmed that GitHub Pages is unpublished.
Checked
.github/workflows– there are no workflows at all.Checked GitHub Actions – nothing is running except a “pages build and deployment” workflow that gets cancelled automatically every time (even though GitHub Pages is unpublished).
Confirmed that my pushes are going to the correct repository and branch.
Did manual deployments from Railway, which work fine – the issue is only with auto-deploy.
Strange behavior
Even after disabling GitHub Pages, I still receive emails from GitHub saying:
“pages build and deployment: All jobs were cancelled”
This workflow should not exist anymore, yet GitHub continues to run (and cancel) it on every push.
I believe this may be blocking the webhook from reaching Railway.
My question
Is there any deployment rate-limit or restriction on the Hobby plan that could be causing this?
Did the auto-deploy webhook for my project get temporarily blocked or throttled?
Or is there a known issue today that could explain why webhooks are not triggering deployments?
