To summarize, for months we've been using drizzle-kit migrate as our pre-deploy command for a number of services without issue. Our last successful deploy was yesterday at Nov 28, 2025, 3:58:37 PM GMT+1. Today, without any relevant changes on our end, our deploys are stuck on the pre-deploy step for hours (see screenshot).
I even tried re-deploying the successful deployment from yesterday - also got stuck.

I even tried re-deploying the successful deployment from yesterday - also got stuck.
Correction: This one did eventually go through 🤔
So to rule out any code changes (which are minor and I of course checked shouldn't affect the pre-deploy step) as the problem, I just reverted & force-pushed the branch in question to the state it was on at the last successful deploy - and that deployment is also again stuck on pre-deploy.
The redeploy modal says something like "redeploy with the exact same configuration", so I assume it must be something invisible to us that has changed with that configuration since Friday, because no settings have changed on our end
To summarize:
new deploy today: stuck
redeploying the last successful deploy: worked
new deploy of same commit that was last successfully deployed: stuck
On the screenshot you can see the successful redeploy and stuck new deploy of the same commit.
in all cases, the pre-deploy command logged success.

Update here: While we have not yet addressed the root cause, we have fixed it for the time being and will address it this week. Your pre-deploy commands should now finish just as they always have.
