I think you guys blocked my IP address after I did a cyber security scan for some students.
Students for their University capstone project wanted me to do a scan on my computer to our deployed railway resources.
But now, my IP address can't connect to our website that is hosted on railway. I can still go to railway.app, but not any of my services that we scanned anymore.
But I can still go to my services on other devices.

yes it's very possible if you make a lot of requests from a single ip

but good news, it's a soft jail, the block should be lifted after about an hour

can you define "cannot connect"?
yeah then you generated too much web traffic from a single ip

you can always renew your ip

for example, my router has a button to click and it will give me a new ip

its not something we have any access into, its a fully automated system
Also, if I made a new workspace, would that use a different list of blocked IPs?
no, its global
that or renew your ip
also, switching regions won't do anything?
Because it's all under one global list?
And getting out of that list might take a few days?

nothing to do with anything in your railway account, it's global at the proxy layer
I'm still blocked. Maybe make it easier for my IP address to get out of jail?
Can't really change my IP address because I think we own that specific one and can't really reset the router.
it's still blocked. Maybe I should wait a few weeks?
Any way to speed up the process?

Probably worth looking into this?
The IP address on my local machine is static and I own it. I can’t just change it

If you aren't willing to change your IP, then there is no further action that can be taken here.
