which hosting plan is needed for hosting discord bots for now and later a website ?
can i use the free plan for now to host bots/ a single bot , and later upgrade to hobby plan and shift my stuffs there ?

I think the free plan will be enough for you. Yes, you can do that and your projects will be saved and the balance from the problem version will be transferred to the paid one.

it depends on your application size, i would recommend to start with hobby just to be safe

Free - Good For Discord Bot Website Notes, Testing, 1 bot, low traffic, Good for dev/testing. Sleep issues. Hobby - Lightweight prod bot or small site Ideal starter for both. Pro - Scaling to users, multiple apps/sites More RAM, no sleeping, custom domains, etc. Just maybe choose among one of these.

Yes just use for free plan for trial, if you feel comfortable and getting bigger then go to hobby plan
