DNS Record Issues

Anyone know how to get a CNAME, www record on a backend? The client is giving me @ every time, even though i'm adding WWW

I am trying to add a Shortened URL Service in my app, but the backend when adding a custom domain is only allowing root, isntead of WWW and godaddy doesn't allow root (@) for CNAME services. Whenever I type in www.domain*.io into railway, it gives me the CNAME, @ no matter what. I'm at a loss on how to do this without a www NAME

What do you mean by "but the backend when adding a custom domain is only allowing root"? Please have your complaint rewritten by an LLM, it's incoherent.

If you want to have your service available without a 3rd level domain (like the www), you'll have to use a different DNS provider (likely Cloudflare). Using CNAME for apex domains is not a standard DNS feature and there are almost none DNS providers that support this.

You don't have to change registrars, just have your DNS managed by Cloudflare. YOur domain can stay registered on GoDaddy

Im Creating an app that has short URL functionality, and Im having issues with a short URL Domain that needs to push to the backend, because godaddy doesn't allow me to add records that go to the room. Is that more clear?
