DNS Routing to OVH Cloud hanging in "Waiting for DNS update" state

I was able to deploy to *up.railway.app successfully, but when adding my custom domain CNAME DNS, and I try to access it, I land on this page:

"Not Found

The train has not arrived at the station.

Please check your network settings to confirm that your domain has provisioned.

If you are a visitor, please let the owner know you're stuck at the station."

So the problem is on Railway side. On Railway Settings / Network, the domain is hanging on the state of: "Waiting for DNS update" since 4 days.

How to fix this issue for proper routing?

I've read through all these links. None of them helped :-(

hey, you should be using cloudflare for CNAME as it is the quickest. I've read up on what OVH uses, https://help.ovhcloud.com/csm/en-dns-zone-records?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0063624

it does not seem like ovh dns directly supports creating a CNAME record for root

^^ Cloudflare will also use CNAME flattening to make it work on the root apex
