Do the deployment regions match the AWS ones 1:1?

I am assuming you are on AWS, and I wanna make sure of that and that the regions match 1:1 for latency and/or fees purposes since I might be interacting with other AWS services

Looking at your roadmap it seems everything will eventually be moved to metal, am I correct?

That's correct, eventually we will have all workloads on Metal.
Non-metal is not AWS, it is GCP, so definitely not a 1:1 match.
