I have a docker image we are deploying on railway that we used to deploy on railway, and it's performing 2-3x slower on railway, causing a pretty bad experience in our app. On digital ocean, a request can take 200-400ms, while on railway it's taking 600ms-1.2s. I've tested on both metal and not metal. The config is the same as well, so there should be no discernible difference.
