Hi,
I'm trying to connect a root domain (outletika.ru) to my Railway service. My DNS provider only supports A, CNAME, MX, SRV and TXT records — no ALIAS or ANAME — and a CNAME on the root is rejected because other records exist for it.
Two questions:
Do you provide a static IP address I could point an A record at for the root domain?
If not, what do you recommend when the registrar has no ALIAS support? Is redirecting the root to www the expected approach?
The www subdomain connected fine with a CNAME.
Project: workspaceoutletika-production.up.railway.app
Thanks.

We do not publish a static IP, so A records are not supported for custom domains. For a root domain, the DNS record must be a CNAME-flattened, ALIAS, or ANAME record pointing at the Railway target. If none of those are available, your two options are redirecting the root to www (which you already have working via CNAME) using your registrar's forwarding, or moving your nameservers to a provider that supports CNAME flattening such as Cloudflare. Our root domain guide covers both paths.
