I have added DNS to my domain host, however the page is still 404 and in the process of the "Validating domain ownership", how do I validate that I own the domain?

I would highly recommend using Cloudflare as a proxy. It's completely free and offers a ton of speed improvements to your site as well as DNS caching.

The "Validating domain ownership" status does take a long time for me too sometimes, but it usually clears up for me, and the ownership validation is automatic

Can you try using Cloudflare to proxy DNS? It updates way faster than any other DNS service.

How long does it usually take for you? Last time I used a different domain host and it was quite faster

Depends on a million things. They promise within 72 hours usually.
Can you share the domain in question?

OP shared the domain privately- can confirm it's not a caching issue on their end. (For others helping)

I was thinking of waiting some more then, its been about 2 days atm. If the validation does not go through in the next 2 days or so, I will come back for more feedback. Thanks

It's usually instant, but there's been times where I had to leave it overnight, I've never seen it stuck in that position permanently
