I registered a domain in godaddy, the domain is model4us.com, in railway I added www.model4us.com as a custom domain and it works fine, however model4us.com does not resolve, from the api service instance when I go to settings-->networking railsway has model4.com already configured and it needs me to add CNAME record with name "@" but I can not add such record in godaddy because it prevents root records, so I deleted that record from railway and added a new custom domain with the same model4us.com value hoping it will give new CNAME record but it still wants a CNAME record with name "@" which I can't do in godaddy, can I use static IP from railway to add A record instead? is there anything railway can do to help me?

GoDaddy's nameservers do not support CNAME flattening or ALIAS records at the root, which is why you can't add a CNAME for @. We do not offer static IPs for A records. The recommended workaround is to switch your domain's nameservers to Cloudflare, which supports CNAME flattening at the root level, allowing you to set a CNAME for model4us.com pointing to the Railway-provided value. Our docs on adding root domains cover this in detail.
