domain not resolving

I have a domain on cloudflare (upfront.capital) that i am trying to add to my project on railway.app. www.upfront.capital is added and resolves ok, but i have so far not been able to get upfront.capital to work on railway. On cloudflare i have no A record, added apex CNAME configured CNAME flattening of apex , set SSL encryption mode to full , nothing works, torn all of it down and still thesame outcome. How do i resolve this .

Please attach screenshots of the domains in your service settings and the DNS settings in cloudflare.

also my troubleshooting manner with cloudflare is to use the least restrictive encryption and see if that's a blocker. Then re-add all the security incrementally

I've mentioned this is your discord help thread, but if Railway is saying the domain isn't available it's because you already have that domain in use on Railway, you woo need to remove the domain from the service it's currently being used on before you are allowed to use it on that service.

The domain is not in use on any service, i made sure of that , note that i also have hairvenbeauty.com on cloudflare and railway, with no issues. I even took out the TXT record pointed at zeptomail for transactional emails , and it made no difference

The error that Railway is showing you means the domain has already been used on Railway and it has nothing to do with the DNS side of things, it could be in use on your account or another account you own.

I upgraded from the Hobby plan and created a new Team profile, transferred my project to that but the personal profile still exists (with no project on it), could this be why ? should i delete that profile as i cant find any reference to my domain anywhere in its settings

The domain could be used in a completely different Railway account, you would need to remove the domain from wherever it's in use.

Hmmm. I have only ever had the personal profile (on the hobby plan) , and no other accounts/profiles before , and i transferred all the project from that to the team profile (on the pro plan). I will delete the personal profile and see , if that helps

You can't delete the personal profile as the personal profile is the parent account to your Pro workspace.
