I was buying a domain, blockday.com on railway it said it was available, on purchase it failed multiples times with an error, with no exact message just a common error message.

Now the domain was purchased and the domain company is asking for 4k to have it… this is not right. Maybe this is not your fault, but your domain provider must be doing this on purpose just to make people buy it much more expensive!

Now I don’t have that kind of money, this was a stand alone app I was trying to launch… 😞

There is no successful domain purchase for blockday.com on your account, and no domain charge appears in your billing history. The failed purchase attempts did not register the domain through us. Unfortunately, we have no control over third-party domain pricing or registrations that happen outside our system. Domain front-running is a known issue in the broader domain industry, but it is not something our registrar does intentionally or that we can intervene on.
