Subject: Domain

test1122.up.railway.app

is inaccessible from China and keeps failing after replacement

Hello Railway Support,

I’m experiencing a serious issue with my Railway domain:

test1122.up.railway.app

.

The domain cannot be accessed normally from mainland China. If I change to a new Railway domain, it may work temporarily, but after about one day, the new domain also becomes inaccessible from China.

This issue has caused my service to become completely unavailable to users in China, which is severely affecting availability and operations.

Summary of the issue:

Current affected domain:

test1122.up.railway.app

The domain is not reachable from mainland China

Replacing it with a new domain only works temporarily

After around one day, the new domain also becomes inaccessible

This results in repeated service outages

Could you please help investigate:

Whether this is related to Railway domain routing, DNS, or platform-level blocking

Whether there is a more stable solution for access from China

Whether you can provide a replacement domain or a recommended workaround

This issue is urgent because it is causing repeated downtime for my production service.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

The .up.railway.app domain is hosted on infrastructure outside mainland China and its accessibility from within China is subject to regional network restrictions (the Great Firewall) that are outside our control. We don't have the ability to guarantee reachability from China for any *.up.railway.app subdomain, which is why new subdomains also stop working after a short time. The recommended workaround is to use your own custom domain and route traffic through a CDN or proxy service that has points of presence inside or optimized for China, such as Cloudflare, so that requests from Chinese users reach an edge node that can relay to your Railway service. You can add a custom domain to your service from its Settings > Networking panel.

I'm wondering if it's possible to add two automatically generated domain names to a container. If so, that would be great!
