Hi,

I accidentally dropped my production database on Railway.

Database URL:

mysql://root@shuttle.proxy.rlwy.net:22935/railway

Approx deletion time: 25 March 2026, 2:30 PM IST

This is a client production database and very critical.

I need to know if there is any possibility of restoring from a backup or snapshot.

Please help urgently.

Your MySQL service in the mavie-database project is still running, so the volume and data files still exist. If you had volume backups configured (daily, weekly, or monthly), you can restore from one via the Backups tab in your service settings. If no backup schedule was set up prior to the DROP command, we unfortunately do not have a way to recover the dropped data, as Railway databases are unmanaged and we do not take automatic backups unless you explicitly enable them.
