Edge Network, question mark?

How does Railway's edge network work, and how do I use/activate it? I keep seeing it mentioned, but I've never seen any detail about it.

The blog post announcing regions will have some information as well but the video is super entertaining.

I'm sure they could be setup to, if Railway would be interested in that, but they currently don't cache
