We recently chose Railway to deploy client applications for our startup. While testing on the free trial, we started experiencing an issue a few days ago.

After creating an environment and connecting a GitHub repository with PostgreSQL, the project builds successfully at first. However, once we try to make any further changes within the environment, it starts throwing an error. At that point, even the environment settings become inaccessible.

The error message we see is:

“Oh no! Looks like the page derailed. Try refreshing the page or contact support.”

We also tried duplicating the environment. It works initially, but as soon as we make any changes, the same error occurs again.

As an agency, we need a reliable and stable hosting setup for client projects, so it’s important for us to fully understand and resolve this issue before moving to production.
