having the following issue which will probably cause me to leave the platform - ERRPNPMOUTDATED_LOCKFILE Cannot install with "frozen-lockfile" because pnpm-lock.yaml is not up to date with package.json

You would need to use pnpm V8.
If you want to leave then do what's best for you.
