Error connecting to branch in Github repository service after repo name change

Railway is giving credential errors on the renamed repository.

			- It works with another one of my repos
			- I have re-connected -> same error
			- I uninstalled the Railway app on Github and reinstalled/reconnected -> same error.
			- I have added a new Github repository service to my Railway project and tried to connect to the repo/branch -> same error

Weirdly a re-deploy was successful but I suspect it is using the wrong branch.

Because of the error I cannot select the branch.

UPDATE.

I haven't applied the change in the settings so that must be why it continues to work (I checked this by making a change).

When I opened the details of the change I noticed that it is a branch change to the main branch (which is the wrong branch).

The rename of the repo on Github was automatically detected and used in Railway without me changing anything.

However it is impossible now to selected another branch (see post for what I tried so far).

See screenshot of the outstanding change in the comments.

Looks like it resolved itself. I checked again and the credentials errors is gone and I was able to select a git branch.

Glad to hear it's working again. If the credentials error comes back after a future repo rename, try unlinking and relinking the GitHub integration at the account level under Account Settings to force a fresh credential exchange.
