My account is GitHub‑only and I cannot
- add a password
- or email login. I
- cannot create tokens
-and background tasks fail with ‘MFA required’.
Please enable password/email login for my account
or convert it to a Railway‑native login.

We can't add email/password login or convert accounts to a different authentication method, as this is a security boundary that protects your account. However, the "MFA required" error can be resolved by setting up two-factor authentication on your existing GitHub-linked account at Account Security Settings - you can use either an authenticator app (TOTP) or a passkey, and this works with GitHub login, no email/password needed.
