Thanks for your speedy reply. Ah I see, bit of a strange limitation! I want to use myself it as a boilerplate to create new projects in the future, not to publish it to the marketplace. I can re-create it manually, but it is a bit fiddly with the variables etc. and if I want to start a new project in 3,6,12 months time I will forget all the intricacies.

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation, even if you were able to create a template for it, in the interest of security we will not copy over the variables into the template.
