Hi,
I'm planning to use Railway to host a Node.js backend with a MySQL database for an app that will process personal data from EU users. To ensure GDPR compliance, I have a few questions:
Can I deploy my services and databases in an EU-only region (e.g. Germany, Ireland, Netherlands)? I want to ensure data stays within the EU.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that I can sign as the data controller?
Do any of your sub-processors (e.g. cloud infrastructure providers like AWS/GCP) store or access data outside the EU? If yes, are they certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or do you use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)?
Do you offer any documentation or guarantees on data residency and GDPR compliance?
Thanks in advance — just want to make sure everything is compliant before launching.
