External contributor false positive + project won't load after repo relink

Two issues after relinking my private GitHub repo:

1. External contributor prompt on every push

  • Private repo, single owner, all commits solely by me

  • Verified clean via git cat-file -p (no Co-Authored-By, no external metadata)

  • Started after converting repo from public to private

2. Project stuck on loading screen

  • After multiple disconnect/reconnect attempts to fix issue #1

  • Architecture tab shows GitHub icon with infinite spinner

  • Tried: hard refresh, clearing cookies, incognito, logout/login - none worked

What I've tried:

  • Re-authorized Railway GitHub App

  • Relinked repo multiple times

  • Verified commits are clean

Ask: Is there a backend reset that can fix the stuck project and the external contributor detection? Happy to create a fresh project if that's easier.

Lets try the fresh project to see if that helps, this is odd.
